Faculty Academic Development Programs:

    Two senior faculty members, Dr Gurudas Khilnani and Dr Gyaneshwar Rao completed one year Advanced Course in Medical Education at MCI Nodal centre, NHL Medical College, Ahmedabad. Three more are pursuing the same this year

    10 Faculty Members participated in International Faculty Development Program of KSKV Kutch University with Education Department, Govt of Gujarat and British High Commission under UK India Educational

          •    Dr Akansha was selected for Phase 3 training held at UK.

Academic Performance - NEET Pre-PG Examination 2018

•    178 graduates from GAIMS found their names in NEET List 2018

•    66 got admitted in various PG Degree courses in Gujarat other Medical colleges all over      India

•    Dr Deepi Agrawal of First Batch got selected in MCH CTVTS, KEM, Mumbai 2018 

•    Dr Rudwich Pandya of First Batch got selected in Secondary DNB in Ophthalmology, Chtrakoot, Satguru Netralaya 2018.

•    Mahima Dave-5th Sem and Prayag Dave 5th Sem Selected as Delegates for Asia World Model United Nation-II in Bangkok 30th Jan-2nd Feb, 2019. 26000 applications only 690 selected, COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND WORLD PEACE IDEAS OF INTERNATIONAL YOUTH.

•    Neha Gohil: 5th Sem Second round as a team KSKV Univ 13th Nov, 2018 Jalgaon-Held by Maharashtra University

•    Maulik Patel-9th Sem and Jay Gadvi-5th Sem: Debate Pune SB Phule through KSKV Univ representation 19-23 rd Dec, 2018

•    19th Sept, 2018: Three students of IInd MBBS (Ritika, Nikunj and Niranjan) as a team bagged third position in Pharmaquiz held at NHL ahmedbad

•    Mahima Dave and Vraj Shah: PARVAH a project of Academy of paediatrics, GSACS, Gujarat, UNICEF organised by All India Medical Students’ Association by Successfully organized a one day workshop on 16th March, 2019 at GAIMS child sexual abuse, HIV child and POCSO act 

•    Students Council, GAIMS, Bhuj, with Adani Foundation and media Partner Kutch Mitra, Organized “Run Against Depression”, on 23rd Sept, 2018. It was 5.4 Km run in Bhuj

•    Three students of IInd MBBS (Ritika, Nikunj and Niranjan) as a team bagged third position in Pharmaquiz held at NHL ahmedbad on 19th Sept, 2018:

•    Maulik Patel stood IIIrd in Speaker of KSKV Kutch University (English)-22-23,Jan 2019

•    NEET 2018: 164 students of GAIMS-all Batches qualified and ………… were selected in various courses

•    Shreya Kalyani: Cleared qualified UPSC CMS written test. More than 50,000 interns and graduates gave this test on 22/7/2018, including many from our college. A total of 1448 candidates have been shortlisted from across the country with around 15 from Gujarat.

•    Nikunj Parekh and Jinal Patel participated in Under Graduate Pathology State Quiz Competition “INQUIZZITA 2018” held at B J Medical College on September 14, 2018 

 Academic Performance:

•    41 Residents Joined GAIMS in 12 broad specialities

•    Seven PGs completed their research projects (Thesis) and the theses were approved by KSKV Kutch University All of them presented a poster, a research presentation in state conferences and sent research publication in indexed journals

Academic Achievements:

•    Sanan Shekh Stood IInd in poster presentation at Vadodara-Academy of Paediatrics Conference in Dec, 2018

•    Dr Jalpesh Majithia, R2 Surgery  Sh Padmavati Venkateswaran Foundation - ALL PG of medical colleges, Managing a difficult patients 19th Jan ,2019  applied on 31oct, 2019. Title “ Worth to walk an extra mile”  500 words: Top ten Shortlisted and will be published

•    Nirali Trivedi: Completed “Fundamental critical Care support provider course on 17th June, 2018 conducted by Society for critical care medicine 

•    Urvangi Thakkar R2 of OBG Received First Prize in Poster presentation at FOGSI MMCON 2018 held at Marriott Ahmedabad held on 19-20th May, 2018
