Established in 2009, Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences (GAIMS) is not only the first Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) endeavor between Government of Gujarat and Adani Education & Research Foundation but also the only NABH accredited District Civil Hospital (GK General Hospital) with Multi- Specialty Modern Teaching Medical College in Kachchh District.
GK General Hospital (GKGH) has a capacity of more than 790 beds and hospital offers the clinical services like, Modular Operation Theaters, various Intensive Care Units (ICU, ICCU, PICU, NICU, RICU, MICU, SICU, ER ICU) and 24-hour Emergency Services. Medical specialties including Anesthesiology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Respiratory Medicine, Orthopedics, Neonatal and Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Otorhinolaryngology - ENT, Dentistry, Dialysis, and Thalassemia Center prove to be the oasis in the scorching desert of necessity.
The hospital also provides state of the art support services such as modern Radiology Center with 1.5 Tesla MRI Machine and 128 slice CT scan machine, Central Laboratory, Blood Bank, 24-hour Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Dietary, CSSD. and other infrastructure facilities required for being a frontline modern multi-specialty teaching hospital.
Also, our Outreach Programmes and Medical Camps in the rural areas of Kachchh district provides the relentless medical services to the needy and economically weaker sections of the society.
