NRC is Located on 1st Floor near the Pediatric department.
NRC is working for the severe acute malnourished [SAM] and Medial acute malnourished [MAM] child in which pediatric department admitted child as according to criteria of NRC through checking height, weight and mid arm circumstance.
After that evaluation & criteria according to NRC child found SAM or MAM and enroll in the NRC.
Once a child enroll in category, NRC people give F-75 packets for 3 days and if baby tolerated it, they switch on to F-100 till 14 days.
NRC person daily check the weight and council the parents for feeding.
The age limit is 1 month to 5 years for any SAM or MAM baby.
Along with packets, NRC department give Energy Protein diet and iron and vitamin rich meals. Along with baby mother also get 3 times meal / day which rich in protein and minerals.
After completion of 14 days patient get discharge from NRC department and department explain for diet and follow up.
NRC data enroll in Techo and register also maintain.
Patients also get 2500rs from government under NHM of Gujarat.
