Basic ambulance often referred to as a Basic Life support ambulance is a type of ambulance equipped to provide fundamental medical care and transportation. GAIMS having a 2 BLS ambulance available for transporting the patient.
GAIMS also provide outsource ACLS ambulance for critical patients transport to higher center for further superspecialist management.
Purpose – Designed primarily for transporting patients who require advance medical intervention during transit. Suitable for emergency & non-emergency transport for patients needing routine or critical medical supervision.
Key Equipment’s- Advance Life support ambulance having ACLS kit. ACLS ambulances have critical life support equipment’s like Ventilator, Multipara monitor, defibrillator & oxygen supply facility. Stretcher and Spine board for safely moving of patient.
Staffing – Emergency Medical Technicians accompany the patient during transportation of patient who is trained to provide ACLS & BLS emergency medical care, who is trained in performing CPR; ABC management; Controlling bleeding; administrating oxygen etc.
Regulation – GAIMS ambulance must comply with Local and National regulation regarding vehicle standards and staff training to ensure safety and reliability.
ACLS ambulances are used in emergencies where there is risk of cardiac arrest, severe trauma or other critical condition.
GAIMS provide ambulances in Category -I, MLC and in government scheme.
